The Lord is my Shepherd
Nov 16, 2023Welcome to my first blog post! Today, I want to discuss God’s design for business and how it relates to life as an entrepreneur. As a believer, I know that I don’t have to do life alone, including running a business. Rather than struggling with worry, fear, and anger, I can turn to God for the guidance and support needed to succeed.
The metaphor of “The Lord is my Shepherd” in Psalm 23:1 and “I am the good shepherd, and I know My sheep” in John 10:14 is repeated throughout the Bible. This serves as an affirmation for my daily life, reminding me that I can trust God to be a Good Shepherd.
As an entrepreneur, it can be easy to get caught up in day-to-day tasks and lose sight of the bigger picture. It’s about using our gifts and talents to make a positive impact in the world and bring glory to God.
Remember, the Lord is my Shepherd, and He will always be there to guide and support me in my business and my life.
Take a Moment to Read and Reflect on Psalm 23
1. The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2. He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3. He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever. (New King James Version)
